Between one second and the next.
Over the past couple of years photography has increasingly become a more important part of my life. Although drawing and painting are truly creative and pleasurable activities and I do practice both, there's something about photography that is beginning to dominate any free time that I may have.
Only a camera can capture that instant in time, that single moment between one second and the next and there's something thrilling about that I’m finding it increasingly addictive.

Maybe as I'm getting older I notice how time appears to slide by at an alarming rate of knots these days. More time behind me now than ahead and possibly this is my futile attempt to freeze time, slow it down to a moment and hold it there for good.

Please note that any opinions I may have are my own and based on my personal experience as an amateur photographer. I should also add that links to further information are simply that, an attempt to give any reader a little more data to go along with what I'm writing about in the hope that it may be helpful.

  • Mayfair (vintage box camera). Now over 90 years old and belonged to my father.
